Amir Hossein received his MS degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran, in 2014, and his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Shiraz University of Technology in 2022. He also spent six months at the University of Pavia, Pavia, Italy, in the Risk Scenarios Department of EUCENTRE Foundation as a visiting Ph.D. student. Amir has published several journal and conference papers and has been involved in research projects with different governmental and private organizations.

His research interests include numerical modeling of geotechnical earthquake engineering problems with a focus on seismic ground response modeling, soil-structure interaction, liquefaction risk assessment, and conducting geotechnical laboratory and geophysical field tests such as Downhole and MASW tests.
